At ION,
we are on a mission
to change the business world one brain at a time.
The institute of organisational neuroscience brings people together to redefine the future of business. Co-founders Linda Ray and Dr. Justin Kennedy started the institute based on a shared frustration about the lack of integration between neuroscience research and organisational practice.
Despite decades of research emerging from cognitive social neuroscience, neuroeconomics, neuropsychology, emotional and behavioural science, organisations haven’t leveraged this research to improve wellbeing and performance.
Many organisations are broken doing the same old same old. It's time to reimagine the future.
Our Founders
Linda Ray
CEO
Linda Ray has been on a mission to change the world one brain at a time since 2006. She is the CEO and founder of NeuroCapability a company which delivers an accredited Advanced Diploma of Neuroscience of Leadership that she developed. This course has been delivered to students around the globe and the Alumni have joined her on a mission to improve leadership capability with the brain in mind. Her interest in psychological safety as a lead indicator of wellbeing and performance led to the development of the PS25™, a survey which measures team based psychological safety. She is also a co-founder of Conductor Software, a software platform which administers the PS25™ and links results with performance metrics. Linda’s passion for the application of neuroscience in an organisational context inspired her to co-found, with Dr JJ Kennedy, the Institute of Organisational Neuroscience, with a goal of positively and proactively contributing to the emerging field of organisational neuroscience. Linda loves shaking things up and has enjoyed inspiring leaders and practitioners around the world for over two decades.
